Bruno's Contracting (Thunder Bay) Limited is a heavy civil construction group with over forty years' experience in heavy civil construction, road building, asphalt paving, materials production and demolition.
We are currently welcoming applications for Scale Operators.
Responsibilities:
We are currently welcoming applications for Scale Operators.
Responsibilities:
- Track all traffic coming into the yard/pit, scale all incoming and outgoing vehicles, recording information, and using the computerized scale
- Travel to various sites to cover for other Dispatchers when required
- Greet drivers, customers and client coming through the scale house
- Communicate with the drivers and supervisors over the Two-Way Radio System
- Returning all end of day paper work and tickets to main office daily
- Keeps immediate supervisor and Operations Manager fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Great communication skills and ability to interface well with personnel at all levels
- Must be self-disciplined and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Proficient general computer skills
- Comfortable in a Construction Environment
- Able to work variable hours
- Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must have basic math skills
